Sun Peaks Resort can be found to the north-east of Kamloops. It's made up of 3 mountains, so as you can imagine is quite a large area. They claim the title of being the second largest ski area in Canada. The village is also one of the most well-developed.

Red Mountain Resort claims 28% of the runs in the ski area are double blacks. That's definitely a bit more than average! There is a ton of vertical on the 3 mountains that make up Red. It is probably one of the best places in BC to be on a powder day during a season when the snowpack is good.
