Sunshine Village is a big mountain resort close to Calgary and Banff. It's made up of several mountains if you want to get specific, but the entire ski area is accessed by one lift at the base lodge. Fortunately this lift is the Gondola, and is the fastest lift and has the highest capacity, so the base area doesn't get too bottlenecked with the crowds. [ Read More ]

This mountain in South Eastern B.C. gets a ton of snow and is conveniently located just far enough away from any major population to keep it fairly low key.
