Sunshine Village is a big mountain resort close to Calgary and Banff. It's made up of several mountains if you want to get specific, but the entire ski area is accessed by one lift at the base lodge. This big mountain rarely disappoints, unless of course you trash your gear on some early season rocks. The upper parts of the mountain are gnarly, with steep chutes everywhere off the top ridges that throw you out into wide open bowls.
