The Orion owes its light weight (less than a pound) to the revolutionary 3D-Vent Technology that strategically places durable webbing in ergonomic positions so this harness conforms to your body like a glove. Apart from keeping the harness super light, this technology also completely eliminates pressure points so you can hang on routes all day in total comfort, and it allows plenty of air to flow through the harness for excellent ventilation. Edelrid equipped the waist with one auto-locking Slide Block buckle for your convenience, and both leg loops have Slide Block buckles to completely open the legs up so you can put the harness on even while you're wearing crampons. The Orion also features an abrasion protector at the tie-in point to keep it strong for many years, four asymmetric gear loops for excellent organization, and two attachment points for ice screws.
