Sunshine Village Sets Snowfall Record

It's not even the end of March and they're already setting snowfall records in the Canadian Rockies. Sunshine Village reports over 909cm of snow has fallen since opening day. That's more snowfall than any season in the 84 year history of the ski area.

As you can see on our snow report history page for Sunshine Village, it's been especially deep recently. Over a meter of snow fell in the first week of this month and has continued since. Click here to read more the official press release on Sunshine's record-breaking season.
