Backyard Backcountry

It's the beginning of February and the winter seems to have let up a bit on the coast after dumping snow on the local Vancouver hills since mid December. The season to date has been pretty decent as far as snow conditions go, but there hasn't been to many sunny days to get up and exploit the goods stashed the Seymour Backcountry. So with two decent dumps of snow sticking to a late January crust and the sun shining for one of the few times this season, a small crew assembled in North Van and headed up Seymour. After getting up in to the backcountry and checking out the conditions it was decided to head to a little area some of us know as the Gigalo Mansion.

Evan Cs and Eldon Sparks managed to document this sunny afternoon and get a couple shots of Rupert Davies, Rahim EFD and themselves doing what they do.   Continue to photos »
