This shoe utilizes Topo Athletic's anatomical design by giving you a roomier toe box and low drop to promote a healthier and more efficient stride, and now features midfoot drainage ports that dry your shoes quickly after you stomp through puddles and shallow creeks. A cushioned midsole and Ortholite footbed keep your feet comfortable and also attenuate shock as you run, while a sticky rubber outsole delivers all the grip you need on rocky and variable terrain. And although the outsole lugs are deep enough to dig into soft dirt trails, they're configured in a way that won't feel uncomfortable when your trail shoots you back out onto the road.
