The Santa Cruz 5010 is the ultimate all-mountain play bike, turning obstacles into features and encouraging us to air over rock gardens and turn every root into a jump. 130mm of VPP rear travel paired with 27. 5-inch wheels make for a bike that pedals efficiently and responds quickly to rider input, but the stout carbon frame is more than ready to smash through rock gardens and pin it down the straight line to the bottom of the mountain. We pair it with a 140mm fork for playfulness or agility, but throw on a 150mm fork and we've got ourselves a sweet little shred machine. Santa Cruz is renowned for its high-quality carbon frames, and this 5010 frame uses the highest grade carbon and most advanced layup technology. This Carbon CC frame sheds a considerable amount of weight versus the lower cost Carbon C frame, all while offering the same levels of strength and stiffness.
