The DU-EP800 drive unit on the XT build delivers smooth assistance to our pedal stroke in three different modes, including walk mode, depending on if we need an extra boost for our ride or extended battery life. Shimano's XT drivetrain delivers precise shifting across the 12-speed cassette. We're promised reliability and crisp shifting action that stands up to the rigors of mountain biking. Powerful 4-piston brakes offer the stopping power we need when we're headed back down the climb we just put our all into, and DT Swiss e-bike specific wheels, paired with durable Maxxis tires, ensure we can roll over technical terrain.
