With a low-slung bottom bracket and moderately slack geometry, this bike handles tricky descents and the occasional day at the bike park, but is equally at home racking up serious miles on an all-day sufferfest, too. It's offered here as a speedy 29er for big rides deep in the mountains, but features an interchangeable dropout system that lets you switch to high-volume 27. 5+ tires for unwavering traction and flotation in loose, chunky terrain. Also, these interchangeable dropouts allow you easily change from a geared drivetrain to a singlespeed setup, should you desire a no-nonsense drivetrain that teaches you to focus on technique and channeling raw power to clean those tough climbs and technical sections of trail.
