The Journey shorts lock into place on your waist thanks to a stretchy elastic waist band, with a snap-closure internal adjuster to secure the fit in place. On the back of the waistband, you'll also find a pocket for stashing your ID and cards, keeping you ready for any adventure to follow, be it beach-side brewery or driving down the coast to the next town. For support in the saddle, the Journey comes equipped with a detachable liner with Pearl Izumi's legendary Select Escape 1:1 chamois. This chamois uses a smooth and soft polyester that offers just enough stretch, and is embedded with carbon particles that claim to improve evaporation, fight odor, and disperse moisture.
