Fortunately Mavic has come to our rescue with the Sequence Women's Short, offering 6-inch inseams and airy, breathable fabrics to keep us powering through summer's heat. The Sequence Shorts are built to ride through heat waves, thanks to their nylon and elastane construction. Nylon actively wicks away perspiration when the temps are soaring, while a generous stretch is provided by elastane to keep you comfortable through the miles. The shorts are constructed with multiple panels that move flat-lock stitching away from sensitive areas, providing a fit with minimal chaffing that contours to your curves. While the cut is no doubt flattering, the highlight of the Sequence Shorts, in our opinion, is the Ergo 3D Pro women's specific insert. This progressive pad packs in three different densities of foam to cushion you, and six different thicknesses, tapering off where you need some pressure relief, and adding a little extra to other areas that could use a bit more relief on long rides. The shorts are finished off with Mavic's Ergo Waist that reduces pressure while maximizing comfort, and Ergo Grip hems that keep the shorts in place through your pedal strokes, while maximizing blood flow.   read more
