The Essential Thermo Glove from Mavic is a full-finger offering designed to keep your hands protected against the ground, grips, overgrowth, and chilly mornings. Utilizing breathable material and three zones of comfy gel padding to absorb vibration and reduce hand and finger fatigue, these gloves will quickly be your go-to option on 3-season road and mountain rides. Mavic builds the Essential with long-lasting durability in mind and it utilizes stretchy, abrasion resistant fabrics in areas of high wear and a softer, more comfortable moisture wicking material on the back of the hand. Reinforcements between the thumb and forefinger prevent blowouts and ensure better durability while the gussets on knuckles improve flexibility for better dexterity. As with most of our favorite gloves, the Essential forgoes any additional closure systems, and their associated bulk, and instead relies on a simple pull tab on cuff for an easy on and off. The palm features micro laser perforations throughout its synthetic leather for extra comfort and cooling. Fingertips receive a silicon print for good grip on the bar and levers and the thumb and pointer are both touchscreen compatible. Lastly, the absorbent material on the thumb makes it easy to wipe away perspiration.
