The classic design will protect your head while giving you ventilation at a wide range of speeds from its 31 well-placed vents.Not satisfied with the protection offered by traditional helmet shapes, Lazer updated the Z1 to include more coverage at the temples in the event of a crash, and it also added side-angle impact protection in the form of MIPS. MIPS, or Multi Directional Impact Protection System, refers to the Swedish technology added to the helmet in the form of a barely-perceptible inner basket. It's designed to move slightly upon impact to absorb the brain-damaging rotational energy generated by side impacts.
