We like the AV Versa H2O Short Sleeve Jersey because its super lightweight, offers our core the protection of a wind and waterproof jacket, and it's highly breathable. This allows us to wear the jersey from start to finish without packing a ton of layers or having to stop the ride to put on or take off apparel. The highly water-resistant and breathable materials used on the AV allow you to push hard and ride at your potential in damp conditions. The exterior fabric is a lightweight and tightly woven material that blocks both wind and moisture and provides a durable rip proof surface. Potential water entry points are taped to keep the elements out and the entire jersey receives a DWR treatment to keep precipitation from soaking the garment. What really makes this jersey special is its eVent DV Stretch membrane that's bonded to the fabric offering unprecedented wet weather protection without sacrificing a dialed fit on the bike. Giordana's attention to detail is evident with each panel being infrared cut and welded to create low profile seams. The arm openings are thermo bonded helping improve the fit and keeping elements at bay. A taller collar with microfiber fleece interior offers extra protection and cozy comfort when zipped all the way up. Speaking of zippers, one of our favorite features of this jersey is the snaps underneath the waterproof zipper. This allows you to unzip the jersey for increased ventilation without fully opening the jacket. At the rear of the jersey are the requisite 3 pockets that are gusseted for strength and to prevent sagging with drainage holes for water evacuation.
