This Universal model is compatible to fit boots without automatic or semi-automatic attachments, and the bottom crampon's twelve, chromoly steel spikes were designed for firm snow and soft ice on low-angle alpine climbs ranging from glacial traverses to steep couloirs. If you come across vertical-to-overhung climbs, you can switch out the front part with the Alpinist Pro Front Part for an aggressive performance.
