About half way between Vancouver and Calgary, and just off of Highway 1, is the city of Revelstoke, dam of Revelstoke, and ski resort of Revelstoke. They like the name Revelstoke in Revelstoke, and apparently some of them like skiing and snowboarding as well. Red Mountain Resort claims 28% of the runs in the ski area are double blacks. That's definitely a bit more than average! There is a ton of vertical on the 3 mountains that make up Red.
