For riders seeking a simple and solid solution for skinning up and ripping down their favorite backcountry lines, the Voile Light Rail Split Snowboard Binding hits all the right notes for the ambitious backcountry rider. Easily sliding over Voile's puck system, this incredibly robust, lightweight, and adjustable binding offers a solid riding interface without excess material inhibiting uphill efficiency or sacrificing feel underfoot. The fully adustable heelcup moves forward and backwards for the perfect fit to your specific boot size. The 6061-T6 aluminum base plate and 7075-T6 aluminum rails ensure long-lasting use, even through the extreme rigors of backcountry touring. The open base plate design eliminates ice build-up, while allowing adjustment of your Voile pucks without removing the bindings or messing with an alignment guide. The Light Rail features Voile's Ride-N-Stride highback, which toggles between tour and ride mode for optimal performance. When it's pulled outwards, the Ride-N-Stride's forward lean toggle slides away from the heelcup, enabling an additional 25 degrees of stride length on the uphill skin. Once you've reached the summit and need to transition to ride mode, simply push the toggle down at the top to snap the forward lean back into place. Please note, the Voile Light Rail Binding includes wider touring brackets, longer slider pins, dual-height climbing wires, and mounting hardware for brackets and climbing wires. It does not come with Voile Pucks, which are sold separately.
