The Mammut Men's Nordwand HS Flex Hooded Jacket is a performance-oriented, athletically-designed hardshell made for mountaineering and ice climbing. Its three-layer construction includes a Gore-Tex laminate for robust waterproofing and breathability fit for hard fitness, and the fabric is remarkably thin, light, and easy to pack. Mammut added Gore-Tex Stretch under each arm to amplify freedom of movement on the climb. The hood provides complete coverage when it's stormy out, and the tall, gusseted collar has laser-cut ventilation paneling around the neck and where you breathe to keep you comfy when you're sweating. Vertical Motion Construction fits this jacket with articulated sleeves and a gusseted collar to move with you up the mountain. Mammut also fitted the Nordwand with High Reach Technology so the jacket stays tucked underneath harnesses and backpack straps when you're climbing. The Nordwand's bright lining increases visibility when you're traversing cloudy glaciers.
