If you're the type of skier that enjoys a hearty bowl of powder for breakfast, groomers for lunch, and quick-and-dirty park laps for an afternoon snack, then the Icelantic Nomad 95 Ski is for you. This midfat option is probably the most versatile in Icelantic's popular Nomad fleet. Its 95mm waist is nimble enough to hold an edge on hardpack and rally down groomers, but it is still capable of floating through all but the deepest pow.The classic mashup of rocker in the tip and tail with camber underfoot gives the Nomad a playful feel that's quick to slash turns, pivot between tight trees, but still hold a solid carve when you're arcing fast GS-style turns back to the base area. A stout sandwich construction is inherently stable and drives power to the edges as you lay the skis on edge. Meanwhile, the springy poplar core delivers that snappy, playful feel you'd expect of a bonafide freeride ski. Like all Icelantic boards, the Nomad is handmade in Colorado and is finished off with mountain-inspired graphics by Travis Parr.   read more
