The new Zed retains the great features pioneered in the Ion, including the spring-loaded zero gap heel, great retention in ski mode, easy clearing toe arms, and low binding ramp angle - and drops the weight to 358 grams per binding. As with the Ion series, you can clear snow from under the toe arms with a ski pole tip, and a Pozidrive #3 screwdriver adjusts both release value and fore/aft position.
